It’s getting hotter this year on Phantom Island: After releasing a split 12” together with Open Space on the label last fall, Lexx returns with a brand new track introducing his long awaited album. “Too Hot“ is the second collaboration with befriended singer and producer Woolfy from Los Angeles. He already contributed vocals on “Give Me Everything“ from 2016. Now Lexx invited him to lay his sultry voice over a lover’s rocking digital dub track which refers to the sound of UK producers from the 80’s but cleary has booth feet in the here and now. Most importantly, “Too Hot“ has written Lexx all over it.
listening to this mix I can close my eyes and have an epic dance party of one, transported to a dark loud place surrounded by beautiful sweaty creatures, as if it was any year other than 2020 djcaptainplanet
