In the last few years Kejeblos has become an institution on Switzerland's ever evolving club circuit. His eclectic style of DJing, fed by his peers and native buddies like Lexx, Alex Dallas and Soultourist, his steady gigs at club Zukunft have been conductive to his rise as an international DJ/producer to be reckoned with. About two years ago Kejeblos and some befriended musicians established their own studio jam packed with vintage gear and lots of space to play around. It's here where the fanatic record digger invited his friends to contribute to his very first own productions and song writings. A true family affair which resulted in the debut release for the new Zurich imprint “Phantom Island”, “The Family Mattress EP”. “Please, Please, Please” features the sultry vocals of Momo Love, but also the whole bunch of affiliated members of the extended Kejeblos family – CCO, the whole Wavetest gang and Foster (one half of Drumpoet Community act Soultourist). Another partner in crime, Lexx, is responsible for one of his redoubtable remixes, dubbing the track and adding mesmerizing keys to the affair. “Evendub” goes along the same lines while remaining simply unassignable to any kind of genre. The EP closes even more gentle and smooth than it started, with the blissful “Pyramid”. All in all, a debut release which sets the bar very high for the label's releases to come later this year. Swiss quality at its best.

listening to this mix I can close my eyes and have an epic dance party of one, transported to a dark loud place surrounded by beautiful sweaty creatures, as if it was any year other than 2020 djcaptainplanet
